How do I cancel my subscription?
If you'd like to delete your subscription with us, you simply need to login and click on "billing" in the left hand sidebar menu, at the bottom. Once the billing modal opens, scroll down and click on "downgrade" in the free plan column. This will downgrade you to the free plan at the end of your current billing cycle. Please note, downgrading to free will set disable the renewal of your plan, once your current billing period end it this will disable all paid features and set all your files
How do I delete my account?
To permanently delete your account, login to your dashboard, then click on the expand arrow next to "settings" in the left hand sidebar menu, then choose "account". In the new view that opens, click on "Delete account", then enter the reason you've decided to leave (optional), your password, then click "I understand, delete my account and all my files" to confirm.
How to share files
When uploading files via our homepage, you will be issued a public URL to the file upon upload completion. When uploading files via your dashboard, you can hover over the dropdown menu icon in the top right corner of each file. From the dropdown menu, you can choose "Quick link" which will instantly copy the shortened file URL to your clipboard, or you can click "Advanced links" which will open a new modal. How do I customise my download page?
As a business user, you can completely customise your download pages. The easiest way, is to "enable branding", then upload your own logo, add a title, description and choose a colour scheme. For more advanced customisation, you can add your own CSS rules. To do so, follow the steps above, and paste in your own CSS styles into the "Custom CSS" box.
One time download links
When sending sensitive data, it's often wise to ensure the file isn't accessed by anybody else, or that it remains online for longer than necessary. The best way to achieve this, is with "one time download links". These links will automatically expire after the file has been downloaded once. The file will no longer be accessible, and will be moved to your "trash", where it will be permanently deleted after 7 days, or immediately if you clear your trash. File password protection
By default, all files uploaded to Uploadfiles are given a unique, 8 character ID or "slug" - this ensures nobody can stumble upon your files, and only those with the download link can access them. To add even more security to your files, you can set a password on each file. To do so, login to your dashboard, hover over your file action button, then choose "Set password".
